URGENT! wireless monitoring 2G shut down

Everyone knows that technologies change.  AT&T is a major cellular provider for wireless alarm dispatch transmission services.  AT&T has announced a definitive plan to cease providing services for older 2G GSM cellular devices.  This includes alarm devices that are used to transmit alarm signals to central station dispatch centers.  AT&T is in the process of shutting down 2G services and will be 100% complete by January 1, 2017.

THIS MEANS THAT FOR CUSTOMERS STILL USING 2G TECHNOLOGY SOLEY FOR ALARM DISPATCH, ALL DISPATCH OF FIRE, POLICE, MEDICAL AND ANY OTHER DISPATCH SERVICES MAY CEASE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE AND WILL DEFINITELY CEASE ON JANUARY 1, 2017.

We have sent multiple letters to our affected customers since early 2014 informing them of this impending situation and recommending an upgrade to newer technology as soon as possible to avoid disruption.

If you haven't already upgraded your radio, call us as soon as possible to order a newer radio and avoid scheduling delays!
